I have to take a second and say how grateful I am for eternal families. My sweet friend Cali, who has always been like a little sister to me, and her husband Josh lost their baby this week at almost 40 weeks. (Her due date was June 28th, and the baby died the 25th or 26th.) For reasons unknown at this time, their sweet baby boy Mac did not make it into this world. I have never seen such strength come out of a couple during such a difficult time. They are truly amazing! But it makes me so grateful for eternal families. They will see their baby Mac again someday, and what a wonderful reunion it will be. I just want Cali to know how much I love her, and how proud I am of her. We were just talking the other night, and she looked and felt so miserable, but kept a smile on her face. She is such a sweet girl, and if you could keep her and her family in your prayers, it would be so appreciated. We love you Cali, Josh and Mac!

MADISON...
Madison loves to sing!! She especially loves to sing the Little Mermaid songs, even though she doesn't watch it that often. If we are in the car or if she is just playing by herself, chances are she will be singing. I love to hear her interpretation of the words.
I love it! I especially love how she tries to sing higher than usual, and how she sticks out her tongue at the end! SOOOOO Cute!
Also, Maddie is notorious for giving dirty looks. My family laughs, because they say it looks just like me... Well we got a picture of her giving dirty looks, so you decide who she looks like. (I'm sure its me.. :( )

Maddies room!
So we have kinda had the "re-decorating bug" We have painted our room, the bathroom, and this week we did Maddie's room. It was a lot of fun to try to make it a little more modern. I had to post before and after pictures just to show how talented Chris is. We painted, and then put up beadboard and trim. It turned out exactly how I wanted it to. Thanks Chris!!

Kids!!
Tonight we went to Costa Vida for dinner with my family. On our way out this man walked past us with a prosthetic leg. Well of course, my inquisitive 3 year old yelled as loud as her little voice possibly could, "Mom, what happened to that guys leg???!!!" So of course in that awkward 2 second moment of silence that feels like 10 minutes, I run every possible answer through my head. So finally I say to her, "Why don't you ask him?" So she did...Luckily he was polite enough to tell her that he had been in a bad motorcycle accident, and that his leg got a really big "owie". She listened with gigantic eyes, and then hopped away saying, "My legs are ok, huh mom." I hope we didn't offend that poor guy, but honestly what is the best way to handle those kinds of situations? I don't want my kids to grow up and look at someone with a disability and stare or point, but at the same time, I don't want them to pry into other peoples personal lives. Any feedback is always helpful!! Thanks!
