Kids are so funny!

Tonight we took Madison to get some ice cream. I told her if she put on her jammies we could go inside and sit for a while. On the way home, we decided to drive by the Draper temple again because it looks so beautiful at night. All of the sudden from the back seat Madison said, "Hey guys. I'm gonna go to sleep now, so could you talk quiet?"

It was so cute! We laughed, and within minutes she was out! I love her little personality she has developed, sassyness and all!

Baby Update...

I have been so excited for my appointment today, because at my last appointment my doctor told me we would schedule my c-section today. I have looked forward to today as a light at the end of the tunnel. I really am feeling good. I can't complain. Aside from the normal aches and pains of being pregnant, I haven't had any complications. So today when I went in I informed my doctor that our insurance would be changing on March 1, so instead of having to deliver at Jordan Valley, I would be able to deliver at Alta View again. He seemed happy about that and said, "Well that's great! We will hold off on scheduling the c-section then for now, and play it by ear." WHAT??? I was super bummed! I am one of those people who likes to have a plan, and I hate chaos. I don't really like surprises, and I am super organised. So to be able to know ahead of time when our baby would be born is perfect for me. But to play it by ear... Its gonna kill me! I am ok to go to my due date, so that's not the problem. I want this little guy to be healthy and come home with me, but I really wanted to be able to mark the day on the calendar. DANG! Maybe I should have just stayed at Jordan Valley...

Fun weekend trip!

**CAUTION- PICTURE OVERLOAD!!**

This weekend we were lucky enough to get away to St. George with my family. My dad works for Nestle, and every year they sponsor one SUU basketball game. The Nesquik bunny even gets to attend and go out and interact with the fans. Last year we just went and watched, but this year my hubby got to fulfill his dream of being a "bunny." Nestle actually paid him to dress up in the bunny suit and go out and have a good time. The only problem was that the fan in his giant head never got charged, so he was dying of heat! In between appearances he had to go take off his head to cool off. All in all though he did a great job, and the kids loved him!

Even though Madison knew it was her daddy in the costume she was still a little scared. Look how big the head is on that costume!
Then on Friday we got to hang out all day. We went and saw the St. George Parade of Homes. Beautiful, but very overpriced! Then we went swimming outside! In FEBRUARY! The weather was beautiful and we had a blast. Madison loved the little floater we had for her. She was even brave enough to swim without holding onto Chris. I was very impressed, and a little shocked because last time we went swimming last year she hung on for dear life!

She loves to swim with dad!

Swimming all by herself!

Don't they look so much alike?

Later that night we went to this place called "Fiesta Fun." Its basically like Boondocks in St. George. Madison had a blast on the Go-Karts! They wouldn't let me go on them being pregnant, so I got to watch and be jealous. They had mini go-karts for the little kids too. I wasn't sure if Madison would want to go on them, but she did and surprisingly enough she could actually steer them. It was too funny though because she was so concerned that she would bump the side, that she wouldn't look straight ahead. She was concentrating on those bumpers.

We had to get a few last pictures in the warm weather before we left Saturday. The weather was so nice, and we really didn't want to leave! A quick vacation, but a ton of fun! Thanks Dad and Mom..(and Nestle)... for all the fun times we get to spend with you!

Princess in socks?

Madison got a ton of new princess dresses and attire for Christmas, and everytime she wants to get dressed up in them, she always wants me to leave her socks on. Go figure! Tonight she asked Chris to be her prince and take her to the "Royal Ball" How cute! So I just had to share our "Princess In Socks"
