And no its not Chris!!
Cayden loves to eat! He is not picky at all. Whatever you put in front of him, he scarfs if down. He tends to choke because he inhales his food instead of chewing. Tonight, after we had dinner, we gave him some chocolate cake.
He LOVED IT!!
Unfortunately he had to have a bath right after... But it was well worth it!

Have you ever met the Staker family?
Neither have I...
But I feel like I know them. I'll be honest, I like to blog hop, and facebook hop as well. I came across their family on Monday, and my whole week has been consumed with their story and updates on little Bronson. Last Saturday, he accidentally drowned in the bathtub. He is alive, but they are not sure what his prognosis will be. His mom is a rock! She is an amazing writer, and with every step of their journey, I feel like I am there. Bad things happen to good people, and the faith they have is amazing!
Despite this, Bronson needs your prayers. His sweet family needs your prayers. He needs the power of healing. PLEASE PRAY FOR BRONSON!
You can see his story on their blog www.stakerzxposed.blogspot.com
***Update: Bronson went home last Friday. After 13 days in the hospital he went home like a normal little boy! He is amazing!! His family is so lucky to have a second chance with him, and they know it. I will be forever touched by Bronson and his story. I thank his mom for sharing him with the world.

Our life...in pictures...
Hey all!(I say all, but I fully understand only 3 people actually read my blog..i.e. my mom, Erica, and Nikki). I would like to say that we have been so super busy over the past few months, and that's why I haven't updated, but the truth of it is... I got in a funk! I would think about updating, but I just kept putting it off. Soon I was so far behind, it almost seemed pointless and a bit overwhelming. So I figured a quick, painless way to recap the past few months was in pictures.
ENJOY!!
We roasted marshmallows
The power pole in front of our house caught fire in the middle of the night, and sent a power surge through the pipes and into the house. It burned the wall in Madison's room. We were without power for 13 hours, and without water for 8 hours...
We sold our TV, and got a smaller one. The 63'' realistically would not fit in our little house with all our other furniture.
We found out the toes are pretty tasty!
Both Grandpa and Cayden have a new best friend...
We had an amazing Christmas with family, and loved every minute of it! Christmas is so much fun with kids.(Even though Santa didn't bring exactly what Madison wanted, and had to make a special delivery the next day...)
And last, but not least, Madison had her first dance performance. She is learning all her sassy dance faces from Cassi(her teacher). She did so well in dance this fall, we decided to move her up a class for the spring!
Well, my goal now is to stay caught up. We'll see how long I can keep it up!

7 Months
My baby is 7 months old today! I can't believe it. He is growing up so fast!
He loves, loves, loves his mommy. That sounds wonderful, but he cries whenever I am not holding him or in the room. Madison was never like this, so it is taking some adjusting. He also doesn't want to miss a thing, so therefor he does not sleep. But, he is such a happy baby! He loves to watch the dog, and smiles all the time. He loves to give kisses, and roll over. Every time I lay him down to change him he rolls right over. It makes the task an adventurous one for sure! He is starting to wave bye-bye, and whenever we sit down to eat, he has to eat too. Even if he is full. We call him our social eater... No matter what, we love this boy!!

I will update... maybe...
Where in the world is Carmen San Diego??? Or Lindsey Barfuss??? That was a blast from the past. I loved to watch that show...
Anyways, I swear I will update what we have been up to this last month, but for now here is a peek at Cayden's new trick. Enjoy!

Please pay attention!
So most of you know, but after my second baby was born, I decided to quit my job and be a stay-at-home-mom! I love it (most days) but with Chris graduating recently we now have student loans to repay! With the economy so scary, Chris has decided to stay at his current job and current pay to have a secure job. So I was looking for something that I could do to help cover the extra payment. I decided to be a crossing guard! Pay is awesome for the little amount of work that I actually have to do, and the biggest bonus is that I get to bring my kids! But the scary part is how many people do not pay attention! When the lights are flashing, the speed limit is 20!!! Not 35 still! And just because the kids are past your lane of traffic does not mean you can go through the crosswalk! I am still in the road! These kids safety is in my hands, so please, please pay attention!!! I know everyone is in a hurry to get somewhere, but if you hit someone you will really be late! Please encourage everyone you to know to pay attention to crosswalks, not just when the lights are flashing, but always!
